Sharing calendars and contacts helps keep everyone on the same page, whether for a team project or personal use. Here's an easy method for setting this in cPanel.
- Log into cPanel
You should already be logged into your cPanel account. If not, log in using your username and password provided by your hosting provider. - Find Calendars and Contacts
Go to the "Email" option by scrolling down in the cPanel dashboard. Find and click the "Calendars and Contacts" icon. - Enable Calendars and Contacts Sharing
On the Calendars and Contacts page, you’ll see options to enable these features for your domain. Click the “Enable” button to activate calendar and contact sharing for your domain. - Set Up CalDAV and CardDAV Accounts
Calendars use CalDAV, and contacts use CardDAV. To set these up on your device, you’ll need some details:- Server URL: This is usually in the format https://yourdomain.com:2080 for non-secure
connections or https://yourdomain.com:2081 for secure connections. - Username: Your email address.
- Password: Your email account password.
- Server URL: This is usually in the format https://yourdomain.com:2080 for non-secure
- Configure on Your Device
- On iOS (iPhone/iPad)
Head to Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Other > Add Account.
Choose “Add CalDAV Account” for calendars or “Add CardDAV Account” for contacts.
Enter the server URL, your username, and password. - On Android
In many cases, a third-party tool like DAVxTM is required to set up CalDAV and
CardDAV.
Open DAVxTM after installing it from the Play Store.
Tap the "+" button, choose CalDAV or CardDAV, and enter the server URL, username, and password to add a new account. - On macOS
Select Add Other Account under System Preferences > Internet Accounts on macOS.
Select "CalDAV" for calendars or "CardDAV" for contacts.
Fill in your password, username, and server URL.

Once set up, your calendars and contacts will sync across all connected devices.To share a calendar or contact group, you can usually find an option within your calendar or contacts app to share it with others by entering their email addresses. - Managing Access
In your cPanel Calendars and Contacts section, you can manage who has access to what.Click on the sharing options to add or remove users and set their permissions (view, edit, etc.)
